Leaving the comfort of the US and moving in a third world country can be a nightmare for many. However, for 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Americans in love, it is the biggest decision of their lives. They have happily moved across an entire ocean to be with their loved one. But it also comes with its own set of challenges. The same is happening to Corey and Evelin. Corey left the US to be with Evelin in Ecuador. Let’s take a look at the latest challenge of his life.
90 Day Fiance: The Other Way; Car Trouble For Corey And Evelin
Corey admits that adjusting to life in Ecuador has been hard for him. He has been struggling with adjustments, and the US definitely has more facilities and comforts to offer. He and Evelin were about to make their move towards the town, and their car wouldn’t start. Corey considers that as the perfect example of how inconvenient it can sometimes get in Ecuador. He pointed out that the need gasoline. However, there is no gas station.
Evelin takes him to a house, and they get containers filled with gas. So, that’s their gas station! He calls it a very old school and a third world kind of life. Corey then asks Evelin if she has gotten the right kind of gasoline. She says that it’s the only kind and then overpours it. Corey and Evelin both agree on not trusting the car. They both were fed up of it constantly breaking down.
Corey Doesn’t Think A New Car Is A Smart Move
Evelin even goes on to say that she wants to burn the car and dance around it. She has been telling Corey to buy a new car, but he keeps saying that they will fix the old one and use it. Evelin keeps worrying that the car might break down in the middle of the road. She just wants him to buy a new car! When she tells him to go ahead with it, he says that it’s too expensive to buy a new car. However, according to Evelin, they are as it is paying a lot to get the old one fixed every month.
Corey says that it’s not a smart move to buy a new car. Evelin says that she is getting wrinkles because of Corey and the car. Corey has already invested a lot of his savings in a cocktail bar. He has also purchased property here. Now, Corey is very anxious about putting money out on the table. Like 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans might remember, he spent $40,000 on Evelin before leaving the States. He has a little amount left. If the bar doesn’t do well, he doesn’t know how long it is going to last.

Evilin wants money at every turn. He’s already given her $40,000 before moving there. all people drive a crappy car atone time. They are trying to get a new business off the ground. a new car is not a good decision. She’s always said she’s in this for fun and games and wants no kids. Once the money is gone she will be as well. it seems like the people from other countries think all Americans are wealthy and they want their cut NOW.

I don’t know why he used his money to buy land there. Is he going to to build pens for pigs and kennels for dogs ,so they don’t have to roam the streets and have homes? Why did he invest his money in land ?

Corey. Where are your tools? Where is your basic knowledge of auto repair? You must learn and adapt. You must learn to improvise. You seem to have done ZERO research regarding what it might be like to live in Ecuador. LEARN Spanish. Study it until you have it down cold. That includes slang and colloquialisms. Get that american mindset out of your head. Stop being so wide eyed and naive. You are NOT in Kansas. Be assertive. Evlin is a whiner, she thinks you are a cash cow, She does not compromise. You are in way over your head bro.

Corey said he paid “$7,000.00 for that piece of junk! He stated it is VERY expensive, to purchase a new one! I can just imagine, since the piece of junk was already so MUCH! Evelin sees Corey as an “ATM!” I hope he wakes up, BEFORE he “loses it!”
