Akinyi also wants to know whether Benjamin should pay that or not. Moreover, she is prepared for even the harshest answers. However, she urges the viewers to try and be gentle on her.

As for Akinyi being prepared for some cold serves, she was absolutely right. Fans have some pretty strong feelings about whether Benjamin should pay the bride price. Ben chose an African bride. Bride-price is the custom. Pay the damned price. He should have known about it well before travelling so far. There is no, “well, he paid to travel” or “he is going to pay for her visa”. Those expenses are HIS choice, and now he must respect the culture of his intended. But he better man-up and set a cap on that installment plan unless he wants to pay for life.
