Shepherd, Ben Price, and Colson Smith run a popular podcast ‘Sofa Cinema Club.’ Corrie fans know the actors as David Platt, Nick Tilsley, and Craig Tinker, respectively. However, let us tell you that their podcast is killing it, with an average of under 48 hours of sold-out episodes. 

The podcast is an entirely ‘film-talks’ show. In a recent episode, the Coronation Street stars discussed the topic of pineapples and their significance in the UK. According to the reports, the pineapple was said to be a symbol of wealth back in the 1550s. It’s because the fruit was bought from the Caribbean Sea.

Later, Colson shifted the topic towards a Tik-Tok controversy that says pineapple is also a symbol for ‘swinging.’ He then told his Coronation Street co-stars that last week’s puzzle was about the pineapple. The Craig Tinker actor asked, “Did you know what having lots of pineapples around the house is meant to mean?”
