Actress Wendi Peters, who played the loud Cilla Battersby-Brown, has found love again. However, this comes after the end of her 20-year marriage. Coronation Street spoilers reveal she is head over heels for her new boyfriend, Gareth Wale, a carpet fitter. Clearly, the soap star is smitten as she has already made their relationship public.

Sources say the couple has been dating for months. The 56-year-old has even introduced Gareth to her family. They have been spotted going on romantic dates with Gareth. Over Easter, they took a trip to the Cotswolds, and Wendi shared adorable photos with her fans. 

The spoilers recall that the soap actress left Weatherfield good ten years ago and is now starring in Doctors. Let us tell you that her new romance follows her split from her husband, Kenny Linden, after 20 years together. After the relationship ended, Wendi moved out of their family home and now lives alone.

She disclosed that suddenly, her husband started having a major stomach hemorrhage and vomited blood everywhere. It terrified them, and he was rushed to the hospital, where doctors gave him a blood transfusion.
