On May 8, TLC unveiled the official trailer of 1000 Lb Roomies. The trailer showed roommates and best friends Nesha and Jaz, or Jasmine, starting their weight loss journeys for the first time in their lives. According to the updates, the series will be unfiltered and heart-to-heart, which is bound to win over viewers.

In the trailer, Jaz and Nesha admitted they were a little too extra, so they thought they would reclaim their good health. One thing Jaz loves more than binge eating is her daughter Nana. She is her world, and for her, she can do anything. While the ladies have tried many tricks to lose their 1000 pounds in the past, they have had no success.

Jaz was alarmed by surgeon Dr. Sarvenaz Nouri in the clip. The doctor warned her that she might need to lose more weight than she expected to undergo her first bariatric surgery. In a confessional, she noted that if Jaz is not put through the procedure, she might not live long. However, Jaz said she feared the word “surgery.”

Jaz asked Nesha to join her on her arduous journey. Together, they could achieve big and overcome roadblocks. Later, Jaz faced a health crisis as she cried about her leg pain. Nesha looked nervous since she had FaceTimed her friend in the hospital. The show will air every Tuesday from June 10 at 10 pm ET/PT.
