Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Reveals Who Was His Best Friend In Jail!

Todd Chrisley talked about his best friend, with whom he enjoyed interacting during incarceration. While he used to pick fights with inmates and staff of the federal prison, he also befriended a man named Jig. The reality star shared that it was he who helped him out on the first day in the correctional unit. At that time, he didn’t understand how to return the favor.

According to Todd, Jig was a short and muscular man who approached him all by himself. He was startled when he noticed some new clothes, a shaving kit, and a pair of tennis shoes on his bed. Savannah’s dad elaborated on Jig giving him those, but he refused to take them for free. But he insisted on not having anything in return, and thereby became close friends.

Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Shares First Night Experience During Imprisonment!

Todd Chrisley confessed to having been faithful to God all the time despite being taken to prison for 28 months. He discussed his faith again as he turned over a new leaf with Julie. The real estate mogul remained confined to the walls to pass the test of the Lord. The pair appeared on their daughter Savannah’s Unlocked podcast for a heart-to-heart conversation.

In the lengthy talk, Todd described the first night inside the cells as the worst part of his memories. Reflecting on it, he said he was angry with God for the night because it was pretty hard to overcome. When the lights turned off, he lay in his bed silently with tears rolling down his face.

Todd questioned God about why he abandoned him. “What did I do in my life that warrants this?” he added. He said that despite knowing he hadn’t done anything wrong, he allowed bad things to happen to him. The former Growing Up Chrisley star revealed that as he slept, he had a dream.

In Todd’s dream, God came to tell him that he had planted him where he needed to be, and when the 56-year-old will exits, they will rise. Though the dream back then made no sense to him, he realized post-prison how everything had changed. For him, the Pensacola jail is shutting down, with him stepping out of it.
