Chrisley Knows Best: Todd & Julie Describe What Their Jail Food Was Like!

During the July 16 episode of Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast, the pair opened up about the prison food options. They compared to what they had on their plates while they were separated by ordeal. As they answered fans’ questions about the meal topic, he joked, “I had Chick-fil-A. I had Burger King. I had pizza.”

Julie stopped Todd, but he added that he had once eaten at Olive Garden. He didn’t like it, so Julie replied to him that she had a contrasting experience behind bars. She had none of the options that her husband got, because she could eat a morsel after 28 months. This made Todd ask her if she had never had a friend in prison.

Julie promptly said that it wasn’t like that way, making the whole conversation shift to the past chef’s pepperoni uses. But they returned to the main topic, letting fans know that all they ever received from the staff were quesadillas. “I ate quesadillas all the time,” the dad of four claimed. He also had a lot of tuna, which Julie noted she loved.

“We had quesadillas. We had nachos,” Julie clarified on what her platter looked like. She mentioned making a pickle wrap, but Todd didn’t like those items. In a 2023 interview, Todd revealed that he was indulging in simple food rather than that made on the streets. Apart from tuna, he ate peanut butter for protein.
