However, the 90 Day Fiance star was shocked to learn about her mom, Karen’s, presence at the reunion. The latter made a grand entry by tossing her hat onto the stage. She quickly referred to Chantel’s girlfriend as “Ashley-Bashley.”

The TLC star handed the lollipops in a sarcastic tone and explained she wanted to give them to the “suckers.” Chantel didn’t like how her mom threw shade at her girlfriend on camera and threw trash bags at her. She wanted to know why she was behaving like that. Karen left the cast in disbelief when she revealed that Ashley was her friend before her daughter’s friend. Hence, she believed Chantel’s girlfriend used her to get to her daughter.

Recently, the TLC star talked about her current dynamics with Ashley during an interview. Everett revealed that the latter was a friend to her brother first before she became a friend to the entire family.

She explained that her mom had a good relationship with Ashley, but she was just a friend to the family. The 90 Day Fiance star came very close to her brother’s friend and even asked her friends whether she liked her. Everett always believed that Ashley liked her and found her attractive. However, her friend wasn’t sure how to approach her because she was a straight person back then.

While talking to Swoon, the TLC star shared why she pulled away from the kiss for the first time. Everett stated, “I liked her for sure, like as a friend, and I had something between us that I didn’t understand. I didn’t want to progress that confusion by kissing her.” She feels great to have a very healthy relationship with somebody she feels safe with.

The reality TV star wants her relationship to grow and progress. Chantel also hinted at her possible comeback on the screens with her new girlfriend. She added, “Who knows?
