Pawn Stars boss Rick Harrison is one of a kind. Everyone knows his ability to find something very rare among the common ones. He has an eye to pick the rare ones anyway. Once, he let one of his guests down. Pawn Stars: Corey Harrison’s Arrest For Alleged DUI In Las Vegas

Back in September 2023, Rick Harrison’s son, Corey, was taken into arrest for possible DUI. The police saw Harrison veering between two lanes and pulled over his car. According to TMZ, the police noticed a strong smell of alcohol, and Corey’s eyes were ‘bloodshot.’ Police immediately took him into arrest after a field sobriety test.

Corey gave a blood test as the breath analyzer wasn’t working. All this while, Harrison claimed that he had only had one drink, which he had consumed on a flight he took hours ago. Eight hours later, someone released Pawn Stars’ star from jail, and he stated that he would fight the charges.

Pawn Stars: How Did The Expert Let Down A Guest?

Once on Pawn Stars, a man brought a black and white photograph, which he thought would sell for $ 1,500. However, the expert’s intervention and resolution of his dilemma about the picture and its cost left him disappointed. The renowned photographer Ansel Adams took the photograph. Many people believe that Adams was the one who cut down the distance between photography and art. His work is truly outstanding.

In 2006, someone sold one of his photographs, named “Moonrise, Hernandez, New Mexico,” for $609,600 at an auction. Rick added that Ansel is one of the greatest landscape artists of all time. “His black and white photos are iconic. But don’t let the posters at the doctor’s office fool you,” Harrison added. He further said that Adams’ work is worth a lot of money. Rick knew that this photograph could be worth $1500, and it seemed fair to him at first.

However, before making any decision, he wanted to consult an expert, which is why he called Brett. He quickly understood that it was an Ansel Adams print. However, when he looked closely, he identified some issues in it. Brett added, “This was a piece intended for reproduction, and you can tell it was used in that capacity.” You can see the markings on it.” He further added that there was another major issue with the print; there was no stamp on the back. This was the reason the print did not reflect what the guest had thought.

Brett further added that newspapers stamp any picture of him with “return to artist” on the back. He further said that reproducing it in large quantities gives it a bit of collectability. “But as a fine art piece, a connoisseur of Ansel Adams’ works wouldn’t look twice at this,” Brett added. The photograph was valued at $300, and Rick offered $200. But the guest decided to keep it with himself, get it framed, and display it in his home.
