His wife has always pulled him into their explosive drama. While he mostly doesn’t say anything now, not to worsen the scenario, he felt he had had enough.

Julia strongly criticized Betty for meddling in her fertility appointments. When her parents arrived in America, she picked them up from the airport with Brandon. Betty called up her son to discuss her parents while he was still on the way. Julia listened to how her mother-in-law informed her husband that she and his mom aren’t on good terms. She confirmed that their last conversation led to a huge fight.

On Happily Ever After Season 9 episode 10, Brandon and Julia traveled to Miami with both of their parents. The pair was all set to take vows once again to relive their wedding day in front of her mom and dad. As she decided to organize a beach wedding ceremony, Betty gave her opinion.

Julia disliked Betty’s thought, saying she wanted things according to her own sweet will. Watching how her mother-in-law chased her to make the day by herself, she admitted to the screen that she was a dictator at her first wedding. From beginning to end, her mother-in-law did things that pleased her and felt were right. 

But Julia promised not to let that happen again, as the second wedding ceremony is for her parents, expecting they would love the beach vibes. She hoped the weather would be on their side, not disrupt their mood. The TLC star said if Brandon’s mom shows up to the nuptials, she had better leave her alone and shut her mouth up.

Julia vented her frustration at the cameras because Betty had hijacked her special day, making it all about herself. She wished for a simple yet cute wedding ceremony on Miami Beach with a sunset view. Hearing her, Brandon told her that he would follow her in everything.
