The show had a total of 10 episodes. The 72-year-old star was a retired restaurateur. He lost his wife of 40 years in 2017 after doctors diagnosed her with a life-threatening infection. To find love again, he entered the show.

​On the show, he interacted with everyone. But he really hit it off with Theresa Nist and Leslie Fhima. These two ladies were the finalists of the show. After thinking it over, he decided to go ahead with Theresa and went down on one knee to confess his love for her and propose to her. Everyone is eager for the show to start soon. However, the producer of the show, ABC, has released a new preview video, revealing that Season 2 is going to be fiery, hot, and steamy.

​In the video, Mel Owens, the man of the hour, was seen roaming shirtless several times around the girls while interacting with them. Before proceeding forward with this, let’s talk about the premiere. Reportedly, it is going to be two hours long, starting with Mel’s journey. Furthermore, there will be a first one-on-one date with a celebrity guest, Paula Abdula. In the show, he will try to find one of 23 women.

​Returning to the preview, he interacted with the ladies and got completely covered in sand with one of the women participating. He declared, “These are the most extraordinary women I’ve met.” Mel further said that if this is how it is going to be, then it is going to be great. In another shot, he held hands with several ladies and jumped into the pool with them. The producers announced all the contestants for the upcoming season. As the preview continued, one contestant declared, “We’re going to give Mel a run for his money!” while another woman proudly stated, “Us Golden have got it together.”

​Later, the former NFL star and one of his contestants on the show were seen kissing on the beach. While speaking to the camera, he said, “I’m blown away.
