Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Dismisses Money Rumors For Filming Lifetime Docuseries!

Todd Chrisley boldly shut down rumors that claimed, for the sake of money, he and Julie signed a contract with Lifetime. The Chrisleys: Back to Reality showed the raw reality of the family. Also, it marked the comeback of Savannah’s parents to the small screen. Despite acknowledging their desire to revert to their original form, they refused to accept that they had taken money.

Todd said they only filmed two episodes and didn’t earn anything, so the speculations are entirely false. He joked about it and shared it with Julie instead. Also, the former USA Network star was asked in Tamron Hall’s interview if he is the same rich man he used to be. He didn’t reply to it directly with a straight answer, but promised to return with the show’s Season 2 soon enough.

Chrisley Knows Best: Todd Sold Assets For Attorney’s Fees!?

As Todd and Julie Chrisley embark on a fresh start, they’re constantly addressing their financial position after prison. Meanwhile, another rumor spread that they came out with a mere amount of $36. So, they are basically called poor. However, they revealed that they spent about $3 million on attorney’s fees. No poor person would have done that.

Tamron confirmed the amount with Todd and Julie after hearing it from unknown sources. He laughingly said it’s way too big, letting her know that she can add the zeroes. With Julie, he explained that they are currently not penniless. He has a bank account with money in it that would sustain their lifestyle.

Julie and Todd further told Tamron that The Chrisleys: Back to Reality wasn’t really compulsory. During the court hearings, they learned the judge ordered them to repay the defrauded banks. They were meant to compensate $17.2 million. Many thought the Chrisleys would ultimately auction their properties to free themselves from debt.

Fortunately, Julie and Todd never paid any of that reported amount because their appeals forced the court to hold on to their decision. Neither of them believes fame and money are important to them. Chase’s dad announced that he wouldn’t go full-time in reality TV, a decision that came before Chrisley Knows Best, which would have been his last work before prison. Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for further updates.
