TLC News: Meet The Putmans Was Discontinued After Just One Season

The TLC show “Meet the Putmans” first aired in 2017. Viewers loved watching a 25-member group live under the same rooftop and follow their day-to-day lives, but the network discontinued the show after just one season. The show offered a unique take on a large family with multiple generations living together in Michigan. The show somehow failed to maintain a strong viewership.

This is why TLC decided not to renew the show for another season. Soon after the show was cancelled, The Putmans launched their YouTube channel, giving followers a glimpse into their lives and what they’re up to now. Their YouTube channel name is Growing Up Putmans. Despite being on television for only one season, the family left a lasting impression on their devoted fans.

TLC show, Meet the Putmans, fame Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan died in a horrific car crash. The family shared the news on their social media handles and informed fans about the unfortunate event. The family also said that two of their family members are still fighting and in the hospital. They released a statement saying, “Noah remains sedated, but we feel so grateful to see him respond to us with movement.”

Furthermore, they say that every small sign reminds them that God is at work and hears their prayers. “Gia underwent a craniotomy last night, and we are thankful to report that her care team shared some encouraging news: her brain pressure has gone down significantly,” the statement further read. Moving ahead, the statement continued that through it all, the family continued to hold tightly to their faith, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for everything.

“He is present, working in ways we may not yet understand,” the statement concluded. They also thanked each one who has been praying for Noah and Gia. On Saturday, it was announced that three of the members had died in the crash that took place on Friday in Michigan. The family released a statement informing of the unfortunate news. The statement read that their family was in a tragic car accident and they lost Papa, Neenee, and Aunt Megan.

“They have gone home to be with the Lord. Please keep Uncle Blake, Lulu, Alena, Noah, and Gia in your prayers as they remain in the hospital,” the family further wrote.
