The couple was visibly distraught over Dillon’s sudden health scare.

Apparently, the readers are going to get the front row seat experience into Duggar King’s toxic and dysfunctional childhood as she boldly comes after Jim Bob Duggar. Amy Duggar, shares that her husband has Celiac disease with an all-exclusive interview with Us Weekly. “He’s still functioning, still human, still alive,” she clarified in the interview after a sudden health crisis when King was rushed to the hospital with a ruptured diaphragm. Later, after several ER visits, numerous tests, and sleepless nights, doctors discovered it to be celiac disease. “Glutes” are totally off the diet charts for him, Amy shared.

“We found out that he has a diaphragmatic hernia,” Amy shared in another interview with E! News. After the disease was discovered, with proper treatments, King is doing a whole lot better, she later added. “The gluten is out, the pantry is cleared, and he has his own little special section now,” she further added. The life-threatening health disorders have luckily subsided, and Dillon is gradually getting better after taking valid precautions and a proper diet. 

“He thought he was having a heart attack, but it turned out that it was a diaphragmatic hernia, which is, in layman’s terms, a 4×4 hole in your chest cavity,” she joked lightly in the interview. “There’s a new glow to them,” many fans reported as the couple appears visibly relieved and relaxed in some of the family snaps Amy shared on her Instagram story. 

Amid the health battles, the Momma King also praised her son, Daxton, for being an absolute delight. “He was like, ‘Daddy, I’m praying for you! They found ways to hang out even if it wasn’t like usual,” she shared, recalling fond moments. Recently, the ‘19 Kids And Counting’ star has been turning heads with her upcoming memoir, which promises many insights into the toxic family environment in which she grew up.
