Jon and Kate Plus 8 matriarch Kate Gosselin has long since been a household name. The show ran from 2007 to 2017. She joined TikTok this year, sharing updates on her life. Recently, there have been talks of her returning to reality tv. The former TLC network star is now a pediatric nurse. Insider sources have revealed a significant scoop on Kate’s return opportunity, which she apparently discussed.

Earlier this year, the reality tv star was subjected to significant backlash. Netizens ousted Kate and Steve’s relationship. Therefore, public opinion became fragmented as new evidence completely rewrote the entire divorce story. Jon has always been painted as the villain after their divorce. The recent Kate-Neild relationship drama tells a different story.

Jon & Kate Plus 8: New Drama Unfolds In Jon-Kate Feud; New Evidence Emerges, Rewrites Story

Kate Gosselin announced her relationship publicly. The mystery man turned out to be Steve Neild. The same man Jon once accused Kate of having an affair with is mentioned. Netizens joined dots, sparking cheating allegations as Jon’s claims from back then started to make sense. An insider hit the nail on the head, disclosing various insider details and painting a clearer picture.

Jon apparently outsed Kate’s affair to TLC. It resulted in Neild’s immediate termination of employment. Apparently, Kate “threw a fit” & the network had to hire him back. TLC wanted the show to continue no matter what. TLC got celebrity therapist Dr. Phil to mediate. He offered $2 million to Jon to settle the matter with a ‘contract marriage’ with Kate for the sake of the show. Jon reportedly flipped out, rejecting the offer on the spot, saying his “Life Was Not for Sale.” The show was later renewed as Kate Plus 8, without Jon in the picture.

Jon & Kate Plus 8: Kate’s Shocking Demands For Her Return! Involves A Hefty Sum Of Money?

Sources report that someone reached out to Kate with a work proposal. According to the insider, she responded with a pitch of her own. “She wanted a ten-part documentary on herself and was asking for an astronomical amount of money. Something in the realm of around $1 1million,” she demanded. She insisted on having full autonomy of the project. Narratives about her have been shifting recently. Her relationship with Neild is facing severe backlash. Is this her desperate try to regain control of the narrative?

Consequently, the answer to her demands was a big NO, according to the sources. “It’s safe to say that ten-part show about her will not be getting made,” claimed the insider. “No one is going to give her such a high lump sum of money and allow her full narrative control.” “Not to mention it would all just be lies, anyway,” the sources further added. The mother of 8 has apparently been very distressed. Therefore, she decided to take a leave from social media activities.

Kate claimed that her newfound romance had been going on for a little over a year. Evidently, the insider insisted, “His [Neild] address has been hers for ten years.” Her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, took to Instagram to write, “Guess who really ruined the marriage?” Collin Gosselin, in his own social media post, shunned his mother. The insider even went on to claim that TLC just brushed the matter under the rug.

The show earned significant revenue for the network. Needless to say, the network didn’t want the show to end. TLC apparently had Jon “under a strict gag order. If he talked about any of this – especially outing Kate- they were going to sue him,” an insider added afterward. TLC is yet to make an official statement regarding the allegations against them. Clearly, the whole narrative has shifted. For more such latest reality TV updates, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
