Pawn Stars: Elderly Man ‘Almost’ Walks Away With 1800s Gunpowder Horn! Corey Calls Back

Recently, on Pawn Stars, an elderly man came to deal away a 1800s Gunpowder Horn. The man named KJ came to sell a presumably valuable 1800s gunpowder carrier. The horn-shaped gunpowder carriers were apparently very popular back in the 1800s. The one featured in this episode contained significantly unique craftsmanship. The elderly man kept the asking price at $4000. He also noted that he would settle even at $2000.

Corey was certainly intrigued by the horn. However, Corey’s grandfather, Richard Harrison, was a tough nut to crack. They deduced the horn to be from before the 1800s since it had the ‘Federal Motif.’ Furthermore, the guest did not have any paperwork to proclaim the horn’s legitimacy. Ultimately, the negotiations didn’t pan out well as Richard offered $1200 range, but the guest settled for a $2000 mark. The man was about to leave when Corey offered him $1600, and the deal was settled.

Pawn Stars: Corey Sells $2000 Painting For $1500 behind Rick’s Back

High up in the Pawn Stars dealings is Corey’s deal with family friend, Davey. Corey went behind Rick’s back to sell a painting. Davey, the family friend of the Harrisons, is known to be quite the negotiator. This time around, Davey was there to sell but to purchase. Corey even requested that Davey not talk about the purchase with his father. He was certainly not ashamed to play the ‘friend’ card.

He additionally mentioned purchasing a condo. Therefore, he was there to buy some art pieces to decorate the place. Hence, the two went into the Harrison art storage. Harrison Jr suggested some sports art. However, Rick joked that he didn’t want to open a sports bar. “Rick Harrison’s face as an artwork would be great, as people could throw darts at his face,” Davey joked about the tough negotiator.

An art piece, specifically an abstract one, caught the guest’s eye. It was by a local rising artist, namely Godard. The painting was a humorous but artsy depiction of a DUI checkpoint. However, the painting wasn’t cheap as its worth was $2000. Davey started the negotiations at a steep cut of $500. However, after some to-and-fro of negotiations, the deal was settled at $1500. “Give me $1,500 for it, and don’t even tell my dad I sold it to you for that,” an overwhelmed Corey responded.
