Special Forces: How Did Cobb’s House Catch Fire?

In June 2024, Special Forces star Cobb Randall’s family suffered a huge loss. A fire started when a Tesla charger caught fire. The car was parked in the home’s garage. Randall’s wife posted a story on Instagram about the horrific incident and wrote, “We are lucky to be alive.” The fire spread quickly, forcing the family to evacuate the house empty-handed.

She added, “We got out of the house with nothing but the clothes on our backs and no shoes on our feet.” The incident severely damaged their home in Nashville. It was still unclear what else was destroyed in the fire. However, at the time, the family focused on their health rather than material possessions. “We had a house fire last year. We probably were five minutes away from life lost,” he admitted. Cobb added that, fortunately, he managed to get his wife and children out. The former NFL player updates his fans on social media that the whole family, including their three children and a three-month-old infant, escaped safely. Later in the episode, he said all he can think about is his family.

Later, the DS questioned him about why he joined the show; he replied, ‘the thrill.’ The former footballer said he missed being on the field and the pride he felt walking off victorious. However, he quickly realized he was ‘selfish’ for putting himself first and leaving his family alone. He said, “This has been eye-opening for me and I thought I was coming here for me.”

The DS told him they would help him become a ‘greater father, greater partner, greater person.’ Randall said in the confessional that if his family had not gone through the horrific incident, he would never have joined the show. He also admitted that the fire taught him that life is fragile. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for more Special Forces updates.
