Another day brought another rejection because Pawn Stars’ Corey turned down a signed jersey. He brought in another expert to divulge the significance of the jersey. Although he didn’t know much about soccer, he got all the help from the expert. Corey isn’t actually as strong a negotiator as his father. However, he has inherited his father’s acumen. Therefore, he didn’t water down the price to the guest’s expectations.
The show has been airing on History TV. It revolves around the world-famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas. The family business is generational, having been passed down through three generations. After its airing, the show quickly became a fan favorite. The show chronicles the lives of the three men in the Harrison family who work in the pawn shop.

This particular instance won’t be the first time Pawn Stars’ Corey went behind Rick’s back. The guest featured in this episode was Davey, a family friend. Davey was there to buy art for his new condo. Then the two went into the Harrison art storage. Unlike Corey, Davey, the Harrisons’ family friend, is known to be quite the negotiator. He was certainly not ashamed to play the ‘friend’ card while negotiating for the art piece.
Harrison Jr suggested some sports art. However, Rick joked that he didn’t want to open a sports bar. “Rick Harrison’s face as an artwork would be great, as people could throw darts at his face,” Davey joked about Rick, the bossman. Subsequently, an art piece, specifically an abstract one, worth $2000 caught the guest’s eye. However, Corey finalized the deal at the watered-down price of $1500 and asked Davey not to tell his father.
Pawn Stars’ Corey Harrison rejects the ‘Captain America’ of soccer’s signed jersey in a recent episode. A guest brought a jersey signed by American soccer player Christian Pulisic. The guest, a notable fan of the player, asked him for $1,500. Harrison Jr, not well-informed about soccer, called Steve Grad to verify its authenticity.

Steve Grad, the Principal Authenticator at Beckett Authentication Services, first got down to check the signature. He then confirmed the jersey’s authenticity. Despite the proven value, Harrison was still in doubt. Pulisic was just 22 at the time of the signature. The American soccer player is considered one of the most sought-after soccer players of all time.
Christian is quite famous in the soccer industry. EPL documents portray him as the player with the highest transfer fee. Chelsea FC bought him for a whopping $73 million. Pulisic is also termed as ‘Captain America’ of soccer. He made history as the youngest American player to become the captain of the men’s national team.
However, Harrison was merely informed about all these facts. The deal didn’t pan out, as the guest walked out after negotiations with Corey. For more such latest Pawn Stars updates, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
