Kody Brown never really had a great bond with most of his adult kids. However, some of them are now opening up about the reason behind this estranged relationship. Mykelti Padron recently claimed that Kody made his kids earn his love. Yes, you read that right. It was never really handed to them on a silver platter.

As per Mykelti, Kody used to love them only when they were kids, and he became really calculating when they grew up. She explained how things changed when they got older, as Kody’s love became “conditional” for them. Mykelti felt that his love depended on how much kids used to respect him and how willing they were to give up what he wanted them to!

Sister Wives: Kody Is Answering Some Serious Questions Now!

Sister Wives viewers are on cloud nine because Kody Brown has finally been held accountable for everything that he did in his past. During a recent episode of Special Forces, former U.S. Marine Rudy Reyes asked Kody, “Do you feel that you’re taking your proper responsibility in the fallout of your kids?” The latter hesitantly replied that he doesn’t want to admit that he is wrong “sometimes” because he doesn’t really like being wrong at all.

Former SAS Operator Mark “Billy” Billingham confronted Kody about being concerned for people around him as long as they “sang” his tune. He accused the latter of not being honest just before Kody broke into tears. With wet eyes, Kody replied, “I should have had a stronger relationship with my children.” This is when Kody finally broke down.

Kody admitted that he actually felt that he knew everything about being a good husband and dad, but in reality, he misunderstood it. He confessed to being wrong in many ways and decided to finally take ownership of everything he did! However, it seems that viewers aren’t really convinced by Kody and his claims of taking full accountability.

A Redditor claimed that the way Kody was violently wiping his tears said a lot about how he simply wanted to portray that he was in tears.
