Previously, in 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Pattiya and Dylan’s mom, Joe, played tennis together. Pattiya felt like she and Dylan weren’t married yet because of Joe. She claimed Joe is very needy. In the past, the mom has admitted that she shares a close motherly bond with her son, and Pattiya was jealous of it. This time, Joe claimed that she is not needy at all.

At dinner, a clash occurred when Pattiya revealed the real reason for her resentment towards Joe. According to her, Dylan had told her that Joe preferred someone younger for her son; someone who could give her a grandchild. That built up a resentment in Pattiya against Joe. However, both Joe and Dylan deny ever telling Pattiya this. Pattiya said that Dylan told her this several times when he was mad in the past.

In the latest episode, the 90 Day Couple: The Other Way couple had dinner with Dylan’s family. Everything seemed to be going well, and the atmosphere was impeccable. The food looked good, and Pattiya thought the meat was very tender. Dylan and his mother cracked a joke about a kangaroo, and that’s when it hit Pattiya. Pattiya ate her dinner, which contained meat.

The whole family was enjoying themselves when Dylan said there was something on his mom’s forehead. His mother replied, “I hope it’s not a kangaroo”. While everyone at the table laughed at the joke, Pattiya slowly came to realize something. She mid-chewed when she asked, “Wait a minute. That’s not a kangaroo, is it?”. Dylan, at the table, answered the question. She was ready to spit the food out on her table napkin.

Dylan laughed for a little while, and Pattiya slowly lost her cool. He said that he wanted her to try kangaroo, and if he had told her before, she wouldn’t have tried it. He admitted to tricking her into eating kangaroo meat. And this is what they eat “down under”. In a confessional, Pattiya wasn’t happy with her stripper boyfriend. She had told him never to feed him kangaroo, and he did exactly that.
