Pawn Stars: Rick Harrison Misses Out On A Signed KISS Gold Record

Pawn Stars has seen Rick Harrison negotiate some unbelievable deals over the years, but even the most seasoned pawnbroker doesn’t always get what he wants. In one memorable episode, the shop owner came across a piece of music history tied to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, KISS. The seller brought in a rare gold record, signed by all four original band members, hoping for a big payout.

Things didn’t go quite as planned when the item’s authenticity and value came into question. Did Rick walk away with a rock relic or lose out on a golden opportunity? The seller, Darren, arrived with the gold record signed by Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley. He asked for $1,500, but after expert verification, Rick valued it between $1,200 and $1,500 and offered $1,050. Darren refused to go below $1,300, and no deal was made that day.

Pawn Stars: Rick Harrison Shares Honest Thoughts On Vegas Tourism Decline

While Pawn Stars continues to attract fans worldwide, Rick Harrison has been candid about the city’s recent tourism slump. Speaking with Fox News Digital, the reality TV icon admitted that visitor numbers have dropped. He said, “A lot of people have been beating up on Vegas.” According to the LVCA, the city saw an 8.8% year-over-year decline in September’s visitor count. This is mainly due to slower midweek volumes.

Harrison noted that Las Vegas remains “the entertainment capital of the world,” boasting more five-star restaurants than any other U.S. city, but rising costs may be turning visitors away. “A lot of people are saying tourism is down in Las Vegas because the prices are too expensive and that might be part of it,” he added. Harrison revealed that his Gold & Silver Pawn Shop still attracts around 1,200 daily visitors, with nearly half being international tourists.

However, he noticed a drop in Asian travelers, attributing it to economic struggles abroad rather than local issues. He also criticized hidden hotel and resort fees, saying businesses should be upfront about pricing. “That’s what ticks people off,” Harrison remarked. “If I had surprise fees in my pawn shop, I wouldn’t be in business long.” For the latest Pawn Stars updates, keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers.
