Alaskan Bush People: Bear Prepared For His Trip While Wrapping Up Time In Alaska

Alaskan Bush People showed Bear Brown in full survival mode shortly before he left Alaska and began his long journey to Florida. A few days earlier, he filmed himself practicing knife-throwing in the woods, reminding fans of the skills that defined his early years on the show. Wearing his usual leather jacket and jeans, Bear explained that he wanted to “brush off” his technique since it had been a while. Each throw landed cleanly, which prompted fans to call the clip “classic Bear.”

This segment was part of a longer video that he uploaded on YouTube titled Leaving Alaska Soon. In it, he spoke about spending his final days in Browntown before traveling through Hollis and Ketchikan. He revealed how meaningful it felt to revisit old places. He further mentioned about his dream of building a cabin one day so his children could experience the same feeling of wilderness he did as a kid. He also admitted that watching his kids grow reminded him how fast time moves and why he wants to be present for every moment.

Bear also opened up about Florida’s weather. In the video, he stated his surprise at the pleasant weather he was experiencing after reaching there. Bear stated that he initially expected extreme heat, but all he got was a mild breeze. He further described where the trailer was parked. The reality star mentioned he could see the ocean from the trailer and planned to explore the area once he felt rested.

The comments on his video were largely supportive. Many congratulated him for completing the long journey safely and praised him for traveling back to be with his children.
