In a recent episode of the “Chrisley Confessions” podcast, stars of “Chrisley Knows Best,” Julie and Todd, discussed their surprising plans. The couple has been married for nearly three decades and shares three children. During the episode, she said she would want Todd to find a new partner if she died. Julie explained that Todd is not good at functioning alone and would be too needy for his kids.
Speaking for herself, she added that she would not date anyone if Todd died before her. She said she is 52 years old, and that is the main reason she wouldn’t date. She said that it is the reality of life and that she does not want to be with someone older. However, for Todd, age is just a number. He added that he would not put any age limitation on a potential new match.
Fans know that earlier this year, Chrisley Knows Best stars Julie and Todd were released from prison. Since then, the couple has mainly spoken about their lives after prison and a few things that happened before or during their time there. Now, the couple has shared how challenging things have become since they were released.

While speaking with FOX News, Todd said he is not facing many challenges. “I have a very clear perception about who I am and what I want in life,” he added. He further explained that God has been really good to them. “You know, so, so many things. God has been so good to us and has opened so many doors for us and continues to do that.” He also said that it feels crazy to him that he cannot go back and change those 28 months when they were in prison.
Todd added that during that period, he missed his wife and children, but he feels that God placed him there to help those who had no voice. “And that has been such a blessing because as of yesterday, I’m up to 68 men that I’ve helped to bring home sooner than what the calculations said they should,” he added. Fans might remember that in 2022, the court convicted the couple after they conspired to defraud community banks in Atlanta.
The couple provided false documents to obtain a nearly $30 million loan. Reports claim they used the money to buy luxury cars, take lavish trips, buy clothes, and more. Todd was sentenced to 12 years, while Julie was sentenced to 7 years. But earlier this year, after President Donald Trump pardoned them, the couple came back home.
