Liz was hell bent on not wanting to invite Anna. “If she truly wants to be a part of her niece’s life, she would personally make the effort to come and see her and be with her,” she said.

Trent then remarked that if Anna were to be there, “it would just be awkward.” Amber then backed her husband and Liz, saying, “Leighton doesn’t even know her.” Fans subsequently pointed out the disparities. They pointed out that the Johnstons blamed Anna for not attending Leighton’s birthday when they were the ones who had not invited her in the first place.

The whole family wanted Anna to take responsibility while actively cutting her out of their family planning and family events.
