Just days ago, the trio shared some exciting news that Garrick and Lorrana were expecting a baby girl. But then, what felt like just a few moments, many new publications put out headlines about Garrick’s arrest. This left fans and non-fans confused and concerned about what was happening inside their house.

According to the police affidavit, the incident began during an argument when Garrick grabbed Lorrana’s phone and refused to let her call her family in Brazil. She also claimed he threatened to contact ICE and even deactivated the Wi-Fi when she tried searching for help. Although she didn’t want him arrested, officers proceeded based on what they observed at the scene. They booked Garrick on November 24 and released him shortly after.

As the finale is about to be released, Extra released an exclusive clip from the episode. In it, Garrick gave another shock to fans and his family alike. He announced that he was ready to look for a third wife. Garrick wanted to do so even though his relationship with Lorrana was new, and she was preparing for motherhood. He made the declaration in front of his partners during a confessional. He felt “called” to continue pursuing plural marriage.

For him, the next wife could come “tomorrow or months from now,” but he insisted they must “keep an open heart and mind.” As the cameras shifted towards Lorrana, you could feel the breath being sucked out of her lungs. Using the help of a translator, Lorrana admitted that she didn’t feel comfortable bringing another woman into the family right now, especially with a baby on the way and limited quality time with Garrick. Dannielle, however, received the biggest shock when Garrick suggested that she might have to legally marry the future third wife if the woman came from another country.

He explained that immigration rules mean Lorrana’s eventual divorce would take years, so Dannielle would need to step in and marry the newcomer for visa purposes. Dannielle was left shell-shocked, saying she believed that it was such a short time for such actions. She had no idea she would be able to hold such responsibility.
