In order to find out about the exact date of the Season 20 finale, many fans have come up with different theories. Going by the pattern, many are looking at the past seasons for a hint. Last season, which was Season 19, premiered on September 15, 2024. It aired its finale on February 2, 2025, after airing a total of 20 episodes. If Season 20 followed that same format, viewers would expect another 20-episode run. If that happens, then the finale of Season 20 will air on February 8, 2026.

However, the mid-season trailer was released after episode 9. The trailer teased Kody’s “apology tour,” where he visits Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn. Due to the mid-season finale coming after just nine episodes, logic and pattern would suggest that this season will consist of 18 episodes, not 20. Meanwhile, TLC has only confirmed episodes through December 28, which brings the count to 14. If the network continues releasing episodes every Sunday, an 18-episode season would mean that the finale will air on January 25, 2026.
