Baylen Out Loud: Colin’s Fear Makes Him Anxious On Flight

In a new clip by TLC, Baylen and Colin are traveling to the UK. Her parents are also accompanying them. Colin’s fear of flying is getting worse, and he’s becoming super anxious. His anxiety manifests in him asking weird questions and trying to cope with it. For someone who isn’t worried, it might seem ridiculous, but he looks uncomfortable and anxious.

Colin and Baylen sit together. He looks out the window and says it’s weird to see a plane take off at night. He is constantly looking out the window, wondering things out loud, like, “Why is there a cop cat next to the plane?” When the flight is ready for takeoff, Colin wants to check the statistics. It seems like a coping mechanism for Colin.

Another coping mechanism is shaking the leg. Colin states he has to shake his leg. He is trying to close his eyes during takeoff. He also curses out loud. In his confession, he says he is just praying in his head as the plane takes off. His life is in someone else’s hands, and all he can do is pray. His anxiety is making him think about the possibility of the plane going down in the ocean and no one ever finding them. “We are the Titanic in the air”, he says.
