The couple has been married for nearly three decades and shares three children. During the episode, she said she would want Todd to find a new partner if she died. Julie explained that Todd is not good at functioning alone and would be too needy for his kids.

Speaking for herself, she added that she would not date anyone if Todd died before her. She said she is 52 years old, and that is the main reason she wouldn’t date. She said that it is the reality of life and that she does not want to be with someone older. However, for Todd, age is just a number. He added that he would not put any age limitation on a potential new match.

​On Wednesday, December 17, Chrisley Knows Best star Julie shared thrilling details about her upcoming project. During a recent episode of their podcast, “Chrisley Confessions,” Julie told her husband that she is set to film segments of her new culinary show in February 2026. She added that the footage will eventually be available live on YouTube.

​The reality TV star further said, “This is my baby, it’s not yours.” She joked that she did not hear that, nor did she agree with it. “I don’t need you to produce me… I didn’t even know you were taking on that job,” she continued. The couple then briefly bantered about her not involving Todd in her upcoming project. Julie added that she is unsure about the working style for her new show.

​Todd said he has been reviewing the social media comments, and people want her to do a segment on what she cooked at “summer camp.” It seems he was referring to her time in prison. “I think that you do that. I think that you do some of those things,” he said. Julie responded that she will “incorporate some of that into it.” She also said she wants to keep it real and share the things she really cooks. “I want it to be things that everybody else can cook,” she added.

​Julie added that she would like to share ideas for weekly meals, special-occasion dishes, and more. Todd quipped that he will consider it a favor if she sleeps with the producer. She replied that it would get her in the paper. She joked that they don’t need to get into another legal battle.
