My Strange Addiction is back, and TLC recently posted the first-ever look at this brand-new session. Apparently, the franchise would drop its first episode on Wednesday, Jan 7 at 9 pm on TLC. Viewers can watch it on Discovery+ and the Discovery+ Amazon Channel.
This show basically features people with some of the most bizarre addictions ever. Several viewers took to the comments and admitted that they were eagerly waiting for this season. A user wrote, “I’ve been waiting for this.” Another one added, “And as always, I’ll be there TLC !!!” Someone further commented, “I am so ungodly hyped about this reboot u have no idea.”
My Strange Addiction recently dropped its first look, and viewers instantly met Wendy. Well, she is a lady from Florida who casually pulled out a RAW hamburger MEAT, and happily ate it. Yes, she is addicted to eating raw meat, and she enjoys eating raw steak as well. People around her are clearly disgusted, but she simply has an ice-cold response to it: “I should be accepted.”
As if that wasn’t enough to turn stomachs, the horror escalates when another woman proudly chomped on glue sticks! But she believes that it doesn’t affect her, even when a doctor gave her a nightmare diagnosis. Then comes Carlo, who took things to another level by eating LIVE BUGS every single day. He admits that this mere habit has actually isolated him.
But Carlo isn’t ready to give up on his bugs at all. Even a doctor’s chilling warning about active parasitic infections doesn’t faze him as he simply says, “I don’t care if it’s bad for me.” But the tale doesn’t really end here. The show would also feature a woman who blends every meal and snorts it! While fans were still recovering from this trauma, they saw some individuals who were addicted to eating grass, makeup, and even cardboard.
Hence, it is evident that this season, the franchise is going to introduce its audience to a whole new level of bizarre. Viewers know they would have to skip meals after every episode, but that wouldn’t stop them from watching. What do you think? Do let us know in the comments section.
