After a brief conversation with his father, Matthew sent his father to try to coerce her into reconsidering their relationship on 90 Day Fiance. When Matthew’s father confronted Greta, she honestly admitted she no longer had those feelings for Matthew. She detailed everything she felt during her stay to Matthew’s father and outlined her reasons precisely.

Matthew’s father patiently listened to her and asked her to reconsider their relationship. “Let’s be honest, it’s only been four days. It’s not been given a chance to go any further,” he remarked. However, Greta remained adamant and also expressed her guilt to Matthew’s parents. “And thank you because we loved you, Greta, and we really thought a lot of you,” the understanding father concluded. Needless to say, the conversation left both of them emotionally drained.

Greta returned the ring and broke it off with Matthew during one of their dinners.

In a confessional, she said she was pretending to be someone she wasn’t just for Matthew’s sake. She expressed her concerns about their relationship to Matthew during a tense dinner. After their breakup, Matthew’s dad came to talk about their relationship, but Greta stayed put. Another recent clip from the show showed an emotional farewell.

They greeted each other timidly as Matthew helped Greta with her luggage to the car. After he had put the luggage in the back of the vehicle, the former couple stared at each other longingly. “I’ll miss you,” Greta squeaked out with a shaky voice. Matthew then went in for a hug, saying, “I’ll miss you too. Stay safe.” They stayed in each other’s embrace a bit too long.

The couple tried to smile it off as they looked at each other, but failed miserably, tears pricking their eyes. Greta got into the car, but Matthew was too broken inside to even close the door.
