According to her, they left their positions because people around them were discouraging. She explained that watching all this made her think that she needed to bring a change. Farrah also stated that a lot of proposed bills that supported businesses and communities were rejected all the time.

Teen Mom star Farrah recently confirmed that she is running for Austin City Council District 5 in 2026. She made the announcement through an Instagram post, where she described her campaign as a “blueprint for Austin’s 2026 transformation.” She also asked her supporters to “Keep Austin Weird” and promoted fairness and balance in the city.
