New cast members are embarking on their reality TV journey, while former cast members are busy achieving their own milestones. One such former cast member is Myrka Cantu. She has had quite a memorable but challenging last year.
The TLC star was on cloud nine when she found out she was pregnant with her fourth baby. However, she rushed to the ER with her son in mid-November last year. Her son fell down and fractured his skull. That time was undoubtedly one of the most challenging times for her. However, all the fans are now gushing over her new reel, where she shared updates on her pregnancy.

Back in November, TLC Unexpected alumna, Myrka Cantu, opened up about a scary accident that resulted in her son’s fractured skull. She took to her Instagram to share about the disadvantages of bed sharing with an infant. The mother of three recalled waking up in the middle of the night and watching in horror as her son “straight up fell off the bed.”
That had resulted in a fractured skull and a brain bleed. Cantu had been bawling her eyes out. The doctors, however, assured her of a steady recovery as her son was doing “extremely well.” She additionally shared that surgery can’t fix such a condition. Therefore, the doctors have been “giving him fluids and checking his vitals.” The reality TV star has seemingly sworn off co-sleeping after this grave mishap.
TLC Unexpected star, Myrka Cantu, is currently 21 years old and expecting her fourth baby. She has been pregnant for a hot minute now. Back in August last year, she took to her Instagram to share an adorable pregnancy reveal video. Cantu expressed her excitement to welcome her fourth baby with Juan. The video featured her and her sister.
In her latest pregnancy update, she shared a reel documenting her latest appointment. She started off by revealing that she had already rescheduled the appointment 3 times. Moreover, she shared her struggles with her sore hips, cough, and painful pregnancy. The reel prominently featured the TLC star undergoing a series of medical examinations.
Moreover, she expressed her sadness at her doctor’s retirement. But the tests later revealed a few concerning stats. The soon-to-be mother admitted that she failed her 1-hour glucose test. The doctors wanted her back for the 3-hour test as well. They further recommended that she visit an ER doctor. But she seemed happy for a particular reason.
Her doctor, who was retiring, assured her that he would definitely come back to deliver her baby. “I’m so grateful that he is coming back to deliver my baby,” she said.
