Sister Wives: Meri Says The Vegas House Sale Money Went To Robyn

The Sister Wives family’s financial problems started way before the Las Vegas house sale. Meri previously revealed that she never received any money from the sale of her home. According to the reality TV star, all the money went to Robyn’s Flagstaff home. During Sunday’s episode, Robyn addressed the issue and claimed that both Meri and Janelle contributed money toward her down payment. This happened because they were practicing a polygamist lifestyle.

Robyn claimed that she had repaid Janelle but hadn’t paid Meri yet. According to her, Meri had been concerned about recovering her investment. Problems grew when she started worrying about the Vegas property and Coyote Pass money as well. Robyn felt that this was the reason there was no progress on the Arizona land sale. She also claimed that this led to a non-disclosure agreement. Robyn said the goal for this was to stop any public arguments about money.

Sister Wives: Meri Fires Back At Robyn Over Her Claims On Bill Payments

As the latest Sister Wives Tell-All continued, Meri addressed the accusations about her Las Vegas house and who paid the expenses associated with it. Kody claimed their divorce agreement required a 50/50 split. He also alleged that Meri wanted all the money from the Vegas home and also asked for a share of Coyote Pass. Meri didn’t agree with that statement.

She explained that she never demanded more equity, even though it would have made more financial sense. Meri said she made every mortgage payment herself, but still believed Kody deserved half because his name was on the property. She also stated that the Vegas house was used as collateral for the loan. This helped them purchase Robyn’s Arizona home in the future. According to her, every dollar from the Vegas sale went into that property.

Robyn also chimed in with her thoughts about the events. She claimed Meri told her she should receive all the money from the sale. Robyn also alleged that Kody covered Meri’s insurance and other bills while Meri only paid the mortgage. Meri laughed it off, said the insurance was part of the mortgage, and insisted Kody had never paid those expenses. She claimed Robyn’s statements were not true, even finding them “amusing.” For the latest Sister Wives, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
