Sister Wives: Robyn Asked Ex-Wives To Sign An NDA

Sister Wives stars Meri and Janelle spoke out about a confidentiality agreement regarding the Coyote Pass property in season 20. According to both women, Robyn presented them with a non-disclosure agreement when the first offer on the property arrived. Meri ultimately decided not to sign the document. She felt it would silence her and prevent her from speaking openly about the financial issues they were facing. Robyn later explained that Meri worried the NDA would act as a “gag order.”

She also said there have been disagreements about how much money Kody and Robyn invested in Coyote Pass compared to the other wives. Janelle supported Meri and said the agreement could have blocked her from getting the money connected to the Las Vegas house sale. Meri later confirmed that since she refused to sign, this delayed the land sale. Things escalated when Kody allegedly pressured Robyn to go ahead without Meri’s consent, which Robyn denied.

Sister Wives: Robyn Explains The NDA & Vegas Money Fallout

During the latest Sister Wives One-On-One special, Robyn explained why the NDA became important during the Coyote Pass negotiations. She revealed that there were financial issues with the Las Vegas home, which also directly affected the Arizona land sale. Kody claimed that Meri wanted all the money from selling her five-bedroom Vegas home. He claimed that, according to their divorce decree, this was required to be a 50/50 split. Meri disagreed and revealed that she put the amount into Kody’s account to help him and Robyn purchase their Arizona home.

Meri said the money they got helped them buy another house, which doubled in value later on. She explained that they were not agreeing on whether the funds were a loan or a gift. After Kody and Robyn sold that home, they used the money to purchase a $2.1 million Arizona property in 2024. Robyn said they settled the money issue with Janelle, but Meri wasn’t paid yet. She recalled talking about keeping financial arguments private with a non-disclosure agreement.

According to Robyn, the goal was to avoid public fights as negotiations progressed. Kody said his piece on the matter. He felt that, because of these disagreements over reimbursements and ownership percentages, there had been no progress on the Coyote Pass property. In an exclusive clip by Access, he claimed Meri and Janelle wanted payment for their contributions, while he believed he invested more into Coyote Pass.
