Earlier in Sister Wives Season 20, Kody and Robyn had different views on bringing in another partner. During a confessional, Kody admitted that he was worried about his bond with Robyn. He suggested there was only one situation where he might consider bringing in another wife. But he also knew Robyn would struggle with the idea. Before he could fully explain, Robyn jumped in and stated that there were no guarantees in a plural marriage.

Kody then revealed what he called his “primary motivation,” and stated that at this age, he would focus on the physical attraction of a new partner. He also claimed that emotional connections mattered. Robyn called his explanation shallow and labeled it the worst possible justification for expanding their family. In her confessional, Robyn criticized Kody and called him a pig for wanting another partner.

Sister Wives One-On-One host Suki Krishnan recently shared her thoughts during a podcast conversation with Sarah Fraser. Suki revealed that Robyn has always wanted a polygamous family and never wanted to live monogamously. Since Christine, Janelle, and Meri left, Kody and Robyn have technically become a monogamous couple.

But Suki believes that this arrangement goes against Robyn’s spiritual beliefs and commitments to the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB). According to Suki, Robyn’s faith plays a major role in the long-term goals of the Brown family. She admitted she wanted to question Robyn about her beliefs and how they might look for another partner in the future. Suki believes that if the push for another wife comes from Robyn, Kody would agree to it.

From her perspective, Robyn has the influence to convince Kody if she truly wants a plural marriage again. Sarah jokingly said that if they added another wife, the show could turn into something like Survivor with 50 plus seasons. Still, Suki feels Kody and Robyn would look for another wife even if the series eventually ends. Suki concluded that Robyn’s interest would likely be spiritual rather than romantic or sexual.
