The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp has been documenting her cancer journey since doctors first diagnosed her with stage 2 melanoma. As time has gone by, her condition has also progressed. She had brain surgery and has been receiving intensive treatment ever since. Despite the nature of her diagnosis, Teddi has consistently shared updates with her fans online. In October 2025, Teddi posted an update on social media in which she thanked her supporters and hoped for a better future.
The photo featured her father, John Mellencamp, alongside her daughters, who were there to support her. She revealed it had been ten months since her brain surgery and confirmed that doctors found no evidence of disease. Teddi also acknowledged that healing could be different for different people. The reality TV star felt she had grown emotionally because of her condition.
The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills fans got more clarity on Teddi’s condition when her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, talked about it. He spoke up on a January 19 episode of iHeartRadio’s The Eds podcast. Edwin described the current phase of Teddi’s stage 4 cancer journey as very difficult. He explained that she hasn’t been able to work out due to immunotherapy. According to Edwin, this has affected her mental health a lot.

The physical side effects of the disease are definitely challenging, but the emotional pressure has been equally bad. Despite this, Edwin also shared some hopeful updates. He revealed that doctors can no longer detect brain tumors, calling the result a miracle. He stated that the progress was rare as the odds were extremely low. Still, he acknowledged that Teddi sometimes struggles to focus on the positives.
During those times, Edwin said he reminded her of how far she has come. Despite the two getting separated back in November 2024, Edwin has been fully committed to supporting Teddi for the sake of their children. He felt it was important to show up for family and to set an example for his kids. For the latest The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
