Gastric bypass sleeve came with a side-effect that Tyray didn’t expect. The 90 Day Fiance star faced substantial hair loss, and his hair didn’t grow back after the procedure. He said he has some noticeable problematic areas and hairline thinning that need to be addressed to make him feel fully confident. Despite the hair loss, his surgery went well, and he lost 147 pounds. He is very much satisfied with the results.

Tyray hoped to get his hair back after all the struggles. He expressed his excitement about looking more handsome now that he had lost weight. The reality star had a head full of Afro hair. In Tyray’s latest Instagram Reel, he showed his surgeon working on his hair follicles. A hair transplant is the process of relocating donor hair to a permanent site. It seems his donor part is on the back or sides of his head. The surgeon returned the hair to the 90 Day Fiance alum’s bald areas, where thinning is prominent. 

In the clip, Tyray had bloodied gauze wrapped around his head, which had blood coming from follicles. He might have had local anaesthesia that allows a person to be awake, but the scalp remains numbed. He lip-synced to his favorite song, “All I Want For Christmas.” The TLC star used a text overlay reading “Hair Transplant” at Goals Plastic Surgery, located in Atlanta.

Before heading to Atlanta, Tyray updated fans that he is going for a hair transplant. His hairline suffered damage from his weight loss surgery. Without delay, he prepared for the transplant and designed the hairline recommended by his expert surgeon. In the post caption, he stated that he wanted nothing else.

Fans appreciated Tyray practicing self-love. Many told him that they are waiting for his “complete healing body makeover.” Some fans asked him if he was in pain during the process.
