The new season of The Last Resort brings together couples whose marriages are hanging by a thread. Season 3 couples include a few well-known faces from the franchise. The 90 Day Fiance stars go through an intensive, make-or-break therapy session in the english countryside. This season, they retreat to a beautiful castle as they go for couples therapy.
However, the couple’s issues do not seem genuine. A few of their issues seem underwhelming, with drama generated solely for television ratings. Even though the season just started and couples need time to settle in, some viewers feel it is all played up. Keep reading to know what everyone is saying about this season.

The Last Resort Season 3 kicked off on June 1, bringing six couples to therapy. This time, 90 Day Fiance and TLC went with real, licensed therapists instead of fake ones. The first is Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, a sex and relationship expert, professor, and columnist at Women’s Health UK. She has also co-hosted the British dating show, Celebs Go Dating. Dr. Tara is a certified sexologist and specializes in intimacy, confidence, and sexual communication.
The other two therapists are equally impressive. Dr. Tyrone K. Grandison is a Relational Mental Health Expert and Clinical Director at the New Balance Group, where he focuses on saving marriages and families. He is also a Certified Equine-Assisted Therapist. Rounding out the trio is Persia Lawson, a dating and relationship expert. As one of the UK’s top love coaches, he is also a Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist.
Season 3 of The Last Resort features couples with marriage troubles. It brings together six popular faces from the 90 Day Fiance franchise in a beautiful english castle, and they go through couples therapy. Each couple have their own issues. While at the retreat, couples take part in guided activities, group talks, and private sessions; they also join therapy sessions that address ongoing problems such as trust issues, arguments, and future plans. But viewers are skeptical about how real their issues are, calling the spin-off unnecessary.
Reality TV fans are quick to judge the couples and ongoing drama from the start. This time too, they find it unbelievable how manufacturers of couples’ issues feel. One feels Shekinah’s drama with Thais over social media is plain childish. Sumit and Jenny’s story has less to do with relationship problems and more to do with how Jenny’s ALS diagnosis is affecting them. Fans also find Patrick’s treatment of Thais wrong. Only the real couple with a real problem seems to be Kara and Guillermo.
Since they are already separated, they are not even arguing as hard as the other couples. The only saving grace in their relationship is Guillermo’s look, which fans are already swooning over. That, and Sarper’s sense of humor. Even though one Reddit user feels underwhelmed by all the manufactured drama, most fans liked the first episode. Since many fans already know how the couples are doing at present, the show feels pointless. Either way, many will turn up for the upcoming drama. For more updates, follow TV Season & Spoilers.
