The Okanogan County Coroner’s Office revealed that Matt lost his life because of “subsequent immersion in water” and “under the influence of methamphetamine.” Hence, it ruled Matt’s death a suicide, and it is evident that he took his own life.

Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown’s body was found in the Okanogan River, Washington. A rescue team did a search in the river and found a lifeless body that was later identified as Matt Brown. It was a team of four people that included Noah Brown and Matt’s girlfriend, Jamie. Chay Wilkerson Moore told The Sun that the team brought whatever they could and simply began searching.

Moore revealed that the team was positive and confident about finding Matt, and the process was “very tedious.” He then recalled how the team spotted the brown jacket that belonged to Matt, and he was wearing it as well. Chay explained how the moment was full of “emotions” when they finally found Matt Brown’s body.

In most cases, the team calls the Sheriff and lets them handle it. But they were afraid that if they wasted any more time, there was a fair chance that Matt’s body would go down the river, and they would not be able to find it ever again. Hence, they loaded it on the boat.

Chay further revealed that Noah was “in a surreal state of disbelief” when they finally found Matt’s body. Even Jaime was ever “overwhelmed” with the emotions when she saw her boyfriend’s lifeless body. People were trying to comfort her, and Charlie was assisting the body.
