TLC: MICHAEL

Michael Eloshway is back in headlines with his child portn conviction case. The former 90 Day Fiance star asked the court to cancel his ruling, which held him guilty of possessing and distributing child pornography materials on his computer. He now claimed that his defense lawyer had mishandled his case and that he wanted justice now.

Michael was held accountable for his crime in October 2024, but he couldn’t surrender himself until he attended his sister’s funeral. Therefore, in late 2024, he walked into the Northern District of Ohio’s trial. He has a minor daughter from whom he has been distanced by court for doubt that he might harm her. His Russian wife, Aziza, supported him throughout. His charges are receipt, possession, and distribution of CSAM. What claims has Michael made so far?

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System revealed that Michael previously had a pension plan. In 2019, he received the refunded amount.

Michael stated that the trial counsel did almost nothing to assist him. He mentioned that there was a lack of forensic experts looking into the digital evidence the officials gathered from his computer. The TLC alum also claimed that his attorney chose the wrong jury and messed up other aspects of the trial. Last year marked the beginning of Michael’s fight to overturn his conviction.

Then, Michael argued that his lawyer failed to ask the jury about their thoughts on adult pornography. Eloshway tried to make himself heard to the jury by saying he mistakenly downloaded large files that contained pornography. But the court deliberately rejected his plea and clarification.

Michael shared that his 121-month sentence was cruel to him. He expected empathy from the judge but ended up rotting behind bars. Fans are now remembering him for his first season appearance back in 2014. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for more tea on Michael’s legal troubles.
