Love Island USA Season 8 has kept fans hooked from day one. New islanders arrived in the villa ready for sun, drama, and maybe even love. Casa Amor shook things up, bombshells stirred the pot, and couples formed, broke apart, and reformed as weeks rolled on.
With the finale approaching, Family Day proved even more stressful. Some families bonded well in Fiji, and the cast introduced their partners to them. But soon, a few couples opened their fortune cookies, and the news didn’t favor everyone. Now only four couples remain. Who got shown the door, and which couples stayed safe? Keep reading for the full story.

Love Island USA Season 8 is turning up the heat in Fiji. Night cameras keep catching everything, and the islanders aren’t holding back. So far, four couples have gotten steamy this season, making it the hottest season yet. This isn’t new for the show, though. Season 7 already set a high bar, with islanders using the code word “journey” to describe sex. Amaya “Papaya” Espinal even joked that the word now haunts her, and she remembered how the villa’s earplugs couldn’t block out the noise at night.
This season, Corbin Mims and Kenzie Annis kicked things off first, hooking up multiple times before they officially recoupled. Sincere Rhea and Melanie Moreno also got close before their split aired. Then bombshell Kayda Bosse arrived and turned her attention to Zach Georgiou, and the two made the most of their Hideaway time. Jen Terry and Gabriel Vasconcelos rounded out the list, confirming to the villa the next morning that things had gone further.
Love Island USA just narrowed its cast down to the final four couples. On Friday, July 10, America’s votes decided who stays and who goes home before Sunday’s big finale. Six couples walked into the episode, but only four made it out. Aniya and Carl heard the good news first from the fortune cookies, followed by Trinity and Bryce, then Melanie and Sincere. The room held its breath until the very end.

Kenzie and Dylan weren’t as lucky. They learned their journey had ended, right along with Kayda, Zach, KC, and Tierra, who all opened their fortune cookies together. In the end, KC and Tierra were sent packing. The islanders hugged, cried, and said their goodbyes. Kenzie kept things light with one final split for the group, while KC reflected that watching everyone else find happiness made him happy too, adding that he’s leaving with a girlfriend of his own.
This dramatic vote came right after Family Day, when loved ones flew out to Fiji to meet the islanders and their new partners. Not every meeting went smoothly. Sincere’s dad didn’t hold back, calling his son’s behavior on the show a serious problem. Melanie’s sister had blunt advice too, telling her she deserved more.
