Sister Wives Fans Slams Kody for Defending a Friend Who Wanted to ‘Cut His Wife’s Throat’

It looks like Kody has once again found a new way to annoy Sister Wives fans. Usually, it’s the way he treats his wives that don’t go well with viewers. However, this time, the Brown family patriarch has defended a friend who said that he wanted to cut his wife’s throat. Let’s take a look.

Kody has friends who also practice polygamy. One of those friends’ ex-wives revealed that Kyle Henderson abused his wife in many ways. One time, he actually threatened Nicole Van Tassell Henderson that he would cut her throat. However, Kody said something on these matters that has gotten Sister Wives fans to feel disturbed and uncomfortable. 

The incident goes like this. Nicole received a text message from a male friend from her high school. She stated that Kyle asked her to cut her throat as a blood atonement in front of the kids as this was her only way to repent and seek forgiveness for texting another man. He added that there was no other way she could be forgiven in the celestial kingdom. 

The worst part is that Kody stood as a character witness for him in court. He argued that the polygamist lifestyle is free of any kind of abuse. Worst case scenario, it might be an unusual occurrence. 

Sister Wives: Other Allegations Against Kyle Henderson, Fans React to Kody Defending Him

As Kody and his wives celebrate their newfound polygamist freedom with changing laws in Utah, fans are not pleased after seeing Kyle on the show. Following a wide array of abuses, Kyle’s ex-wife managed to escape her marriage with him. He treated her like a machine made to carry babies and said that he will keep her barefoot and pregnant to get as many children out of her. 

In 19 years, she had 15 kids 13 of which are living. Several of the abuse incidents took place in front of the children. One fan thinks that TLC is trying to make Kody look good by keeping him beside an abuser to gain more points. Another thinks that TLC gives abusers a platform and referred to a 90 Day Fiance alum. 

One Redditor expressed their thoughts on how abuse happens behind closed doors with no one to back it up. According to the user, it’s a pity that only doctors and nurses can provide proof of abuse to defend victims.
