Initially, his parents agreed to accept Brittany as their daughter in law. But after they saw her bikini pictures on Instagram, they told her to take them down and convert to Islam before marrying their son. Of course, Brittany wasn’t open to changing her religion as she wanted Yazan to accept her as she was. She also accused him of being a completely different person in front of his parents.
