OLM and Xebec produced the debut season of this anime series. However, Sanzigen took over the production from the second installment and produced the last two seasons of the anime series. Ever since its completion, the fans have been waiting for Sanzigen to renew the show for its fourth season. However, it didn’t happen yet. The makers neither canceled nor green-lit BanG Dream Season 4. They did announce some films, but the fate of the anime series is still up in the air. Two More Films On Its Way!
Back in 2019, the makers released a film titled BanG Dream! Film Live. It is the first part of the trilogy, which focuses on the lives of Roselia and Poppin Party. The makers already announced two more films, which are scheduled to release theatrically in 2021 and 2022. So, even if there are no more installments in the anime series, the makers will still see the Popping Party and Roselia on the big screens this year.
