Shinichirō Watanabe does wonders again! The popular anime TV and film director is known for his contributions in critically acclaimed anime series like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Death Parade. Well, one such series released last year and won millions of hearts yet again. As of now, fans are demanding Carole And Tuesday Season 3 to watch more of Watanabe’s directorial perfection.
Carole And Tuesday debuted on the screens back in April 2019, in Japan. By August 2019, the series was available to stream on Netflix as well. Within a moment, the Studio Bones series gathered the eyes of thousands of content-loving viewers. Also, it was appreciated by critics around the globe for its storytelling and animation style.
The anime ran in Japan for 24 episodes from April to October 2019. However, on Netflix, it was split into two parts, which are now considered as separate seasons. Hence, we’ll be mentioning the upcoming installment as the third season of the series. The first twelve episodes debuted on the streamer in August 2019, while the rest twelve premiered as Season 2 in December 2019.

In fact, amongst his contributions as a chief director, only Samurai Champloo, and Space Dandy have had the chance to return for Season 2. Yet, Carole And Tuesday is the first original collaboration between Watanabe and Netflix. Being its streamer, Netflix may have a say in the renewal of the third season. However, the renewal will always be dependant on the performance of the series. Netflix barely hesitates in canceling capable shows if they don’t do expected business. When Will Carole And Tuesday Season 3 Release?
As of now, neither Studio Bones nor Netflix are considering the series to return for a second season. Besides, it’s too early to ask for a release date. However, there’s still hope for the anime’s return. Anime series take longer in the production process than television programs. Hence, even if the renewal comes early, Carole And Tuesday Season 3 may not premiere anytime before early to mid-2021. Whereas, the episodes might take a few more months to debut on Netflix.
