Cells At Work is a Japanese anime series. The anime series is the remake of the manga of the same title by Akane Shimizu. It first premiered on July 8, 2018. The creators renewed the second season back in March 2019, which will premiere in a few days.

This anime will focus on the cells that are suffering from the unhealthy lifestyle of humans. It will focus on cells of the human who is in stress, drinks, and smokes too much, and does not engage in enough physical activity. In the spin-off show, the fans will get to see stories related to alcohol, smoking, STDs, and erection problems as well. 

The authors have published seven volumes of this spin-off manga so far, and the eighth one is scheduled to release in June 2021. The makers are confident that just like the original anime, the spin-off series will also manage to impress the fans and will receive critical acclamation from the experts. Along with the series, the makers announced a film as well that will be based on the platelets. They are yet to announce its release date.
