The two-year-long hiatus since the anime’s debut in January 2018 led to the birth of several rumors related to its cancelation. The anime series is popular enough to deserve a second round, at the least. Desu Māchi Kara Hajimaru Isekai Kyōsōkyoku is pretty much in demand both in and outside of Japan. In fact, the studio may not risk canceling an anime series as profitable as this. On the other hand, the Season 1 finale hints that the makers are interested in making more installments in the future. However, it’s important to consider that most of the LN series are adapted into animes to increase the sales of upcoming light novels. Hence, the studios usually stop creating more installments of the anime after the debut season. In fact, this amount of source material is enough to make several installments in the future.
