While some fans had fallen in love with the show, others called it literal trash. Besides, it was also criticized by critics and otakus. Yet, it’s hard to neglect that it is the perfect guilty pleasure for millions of people globally.

Will Eromanga Sensei Season 2 Ever Come Out?
Over the years after its release, Eromanga Sensei has kept its viewers asking for more. In fact, some of its fans have signed different petitions for the renewal of a second season. The series was commercially successful for the animation studio. The first season alone caught the eyes of millions around the world. Besides, its merchandise brought enough profit for the company.
On the other hand, the anime helped in increasing the business of its source material. Since its release, the Eromanga Sensei light novel series and manga adaptation have both experienced a rise in sales. It’s been two years since the first installment came out, and its effect on the sales is still noticeable. Hence, it’s speculated that Eromanga Sensei Season 2 be equally economically viable for the producers. Therefore, there’s still hope for its renewal.
Although some viewers believe that Season 1’s poor ratings can bring down the possibilities of a second round. Several countries have seen a major decline in the economy, and the results show in the entertainment industry too.

Is There Enough Source Material For Season 2?
The Eromanga Sensei light novel series began serializing in 2013. The twelfth volume of the series came out in November 2019. Out of its twelve volumes (as of early 2020), Season 1 of the anime adaptation only covers the first three books. Hence, A1-Pictures has plenty of LN volumes left to consume in Eromanga Sensei Season 2. In fact, the remaining volumes can further be used for future installments as well.
