The Goblin Slayer Season 2: Source Material
Goblin Slayer universe is originally based on a Japanese light novel series of the same name, which is written by Kumo Kagyu. The concept was also turned into a manga anthology. Later, an animated anime adaptation was released, which took the popularity of this novel collection to a whole new level. Currently, there are 13 Goblin Slayer light novel volumes in Japan.

But the main emotional arc strikes when the Goblin Slayer learns the wizard boy’s true motivations. The stakes are even high when he finds out that their new adventure training ground is located at the exact spot where Goblin Slayer and the Cowgirl’s childhood village used to be. The plot of Season 2 will likely kick off from where it left in the Goblin’s Crown movie. It is expected that the makers will bring in some new characters for a sequel.
