Goblin Slayer became one of the best anime shows of 2018, and it seems like it will not wrap up with only one season. The last episode of the first season was released on December 30th, 2018 with a total of 12 episodes. The finale of the anime promised the fans to come back with Goblin Slayer Season 2.
The show sets high standards in the Isekai anime genre. It contains more berserk sequences and falls on the side of the ultra-violence. Flowing through the same veins of any dark fantasy genre, Goblin Slayer is soaked into topics like rape, genocide, brutal killings and vicious murders.

Message featured in the end credit scene of the last episode of the first season. That sure does promise the fans that it will return with another fantastic season. The production house made a definite promise that soon viewers will get the Goblin Slayer Season 2.
So far, the anime’s light novel consists of untouched 10 volumes which are more than enough for content to make another season. From 10 volumes, 8 volumes are already translated into English. It seems like the anime series has caught up with the manga.
A side story titled as ‘Goblin Slayer: Year One’ was released in March 2018. It contains the previous events where the Goblin Slayer became determined to exterminate all Goblins from the world. Well, after all, everyone is waiting to see the face of Goblin Slayer which was not completely revealed in the last episode.
Goblin Slayer Season 2 Spoilers
There isn’t much to say about what is going to happen in ‘Goblin Slayer Season 2.’ After covering all events that are shown in the manga of Goblin Slayer, anime was ended with its first season. Now, it is speculated that anime will be following the events of the light novel.
The second installment will introduce a new villain known as “Dark Elf,” who is a member of Evil Sect. He plans to resurrect the Demon Lord after falling in combat against Sword Maiden’s party. In the Goblin Slayer Season 2, he’ll show up in a peaceful gathering in Frontier town to mess with Orcbolg, where we can witness a fantastic fight against the new summoned monster and Goblin Slayer.
What’s more entertaining that we’ll see Goblin Slayer slowly developing a harem. Fans can look forward to seeing shy Goblin Slayer dating some girls during the Harvest Festival. Orcbolg already begins to bloom his flower of the harem in his dense life for the first time.
In addition to that Goblin Slayer will search for Goblin Vampire’s existence. That will surely add the comic essence in the anime series. And there will be impressive character development of the protagonist in the second installment.
Goblin Slayer Season 2 Release Date
Goblin Slayer has hyped up the whole anime world with its amazing story-line and fighting scenes. The anime is awaited by many fans who are longing for more Goblin Slaying in the Goblin Slayer Season 2.
However, an anime film Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown is scheduled for May 26, 2019 release. This has kept the Production Company occupied for now. The second season of Goblin Slayer is expected to release in the fall of 2019 or early 2020. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.
